Coby's Upcoming Appointment

Well....I have given in to Dr. Sisson's suggestion & have made Coby an appointment with an ophthalmologist for this upcoming Thursday morning. Because of Coby's horrible tearing & staining, I would think all his allergy meds would knock that out, but it hasn't. He still has very watery eyes - more so in his "lame" right eye. Coby has had a rather "squinty" eye since he's been a puppy & no other vet has said anything about it. We were never able to figure out why it is the way it is. We've had the tear ducts flushed, that didn't work. I figure since Coby has a neurologist, why not add another specialist on top of it all! So...just to be safe & make sure there is nothing seriously wrong with this eye he will be going to the eye doctor!

Coby's most recent blood work....

Coby had some blood work done last Friday. He had a CBC & general chem profile done because I was curious about his blood work, especially since it's been a couple months since he's had anything done. It seems so weird to go months without blood work! All the labs were perfect! I also had some thyroid tests done due to his aggression issues & the fact it is common in Klee Kai - that was normal as well. SO....everything on the inside & outside are lookin' good! I will post pics soon!

Coby's Moving to Florida

Yes....we are moving to Orlando, Florida next month!!! So, updates may be slower than the usual slow! We are getting his thyroid tested tomorrow due to his increased aggressiveness. We also had a trainer come in today which hopefully will help! Coby will LOVE FL!!!! He hates snow & loves the sunshine!

Quickie

Just a quick note - Coby continues to do well. He's been enjoying his summer! He's still on the keppra (anti-seizure med) three times daily. We restarted his cyclosporine due to allergies. We are going to Florida on Monday, so he should have a good time on vacation! Will post pics when we return!
