17th Annual Paws in the Park

Coby & I will be walking in a fundraising pet walk called Paws in the Park. All donations recieved will go back to support the SPCA of Central Florida in their community programming, low cost medical facilities and finding loving permanent homes for thousands of animals!

December Update!

December 2011 - a year and a half after Coby's GME diagnosis and he continues to do great! I just looked thru some of the older posts and Coby sure has gone to hell and back. What a strong little pup he is. He looked so skinny, so sick, so bad in many of those pictures. I don't know how we did it, but we did....we made it thru a year of absolute hell....we survived! Coby has been prednisone free for 383 days now and chemo free for 7 months! He is still receiving Keppra for seizures and cyclosporine for allergies. Coby also weighs 8.6 pounds and eating well. He is super healthy and happy. :-)

Coby won the grand prize! This is what was in his goodie bag. We won a 3 day, 2 niight stay for the TradeWinds Island Resort in St Pete, a 3 year subscription to "The New Barker" magazine, a caricature drawing of him to be placed in the New Barker, $25 gift certificate for Art Unleashed & $50 gift certificate for Gone to the Dogs Boutique.



Coby's friend Diego

Coby's friend Diego has also been diagnosed with GME & is currently undergoing treatment. He has been on prednisone & chemo for a couple months & is under the care of Dr. Sisson as well. Unfortunately, Diego recently relapsed & his prognosis is unknown. He & his mommy need everyone's prayers & positive support. Please pray for Coby's friend - Diego needs & deserves a healthy recovery with full remission.
